Is this a good answer?

(Regarding taking a teaching position closer to home, after years in administration, I was asked:

Q: What about the allure of administration? Would you be happy in a job like this, or is it not going to be exciting enough for you?

A: I’ve been an administrator. I went there because I was enticed by the money, and the chance to lead and to help others. While I was an assistant principal, I got to be the heavy. Parents and students look at me now with smiles. Back then, it was frowns and anger. What’s most important to me now is settling into a job that I can do well, building a program to the best it can be, and going home each night to my family, which is more important than anything.

Would you hire that guy?
