Dad Revisited.com

I’ve started a new daddy blog.
After writing and recording Digital Father for a couple of years, I decided to look back and see what my mission was and whether I was meeting it. I started out as a blog to help dads, but there is one problem. I am no expert. When you want help, you should go to experts. You should do what I do- listen to smart people doing smart things, and copy them.
What I really want is to chronicle events in my life that are funny, educational, and poigniant. I want to share what I learn, tell people what I know, and write more. Podcasting is hard. I’ll still do it, but the process is time-consuming and drudge-inducing. Podcasts are more successful if they are on a schedule, and podcasting on a schedule takes a lot of content. I was including more and more news items from aggregators and search engines because I did not have enough original content.
Well, that stops now. Dad Revisited will be my content. I’ll create it. I will be solely responsible for everything you see on the site. I will add a podcast (probably a vidcast!) and it will be when I want, and when I have something to say.
I set up a new site instead of repurposing this blog, because I wanted a clean start. Come and join me if you like. I can be found at dadrevisited.com. Sign up for the full feed, or just read about Technology, Family and Marriage, or Faith.
Thanks for everything you have done for me here. I will be starting up Bernies World again soon, and I look forward to hearing from many of you at the new place. No housewarming gift neccesary. Just bring a bottle of wine. We can share it.
